DILATED BLOOD VESSELS TREATMENT
Dilated (prominent) facial blood vessels (telangiectasias, rosacea), superficial blood vessels and vascular formations in the legs (“cherry” Angiomas, hemangiomas) can be treated with a laser. When a blood vessel is processed with a laser, its walls stick together, and the vessel disappears within 2-4 weeks. If necessary, the procedure may be repeated 3-4 weeks after the first one.
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS FOLLOWING VASCULAR LASER THERAPY?
After the procedure, it is not recommended to visit a sauna or take a hot bath for 3-7 days. Sun exposure should also be avoided while undergoing vascular laser treatment. Vascular treatment procedures should not be performed during the sunniest calendar months – from may to september.
IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?
The procedure is a little uncomfortable due to a burning sensation you may feel while it is performed. Right after the procedure, cooling ice compresses can be applied to reduce discomfort and swelling.
