FILLER INJECTIONS

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin or submuscular to correct the volume and shape of the lips, improve the facial oval, smooth out nasolabial folds and “marionette lines”, change the volume and shape of the jawline, and improve the skin quality. The results of the procedure get enhanced within 2-3 weeks.

How long will the effect of the procedure last?

The longevity of the procedure effect will vary in different individuals, but it can last for up to 12-18 months depending on the skin condition, the patient’s age, health, lifestyle, as well as the amount of the preparation injected.  

Is the procedure painful?

As a rule, anaesthetizing cream is applied to the site of the procedure 20-30 minutes before the filler is injected, so the procedure is virtually painless.  

Are there any post-procedure restrictions to be observed?  

For 2 weeks following the filler injection it is not advised to visit the sauna, undergo intensive facial massage or any apparatus procedure involving the use of technical devices in the treated area. For the first 3 days after the injection neither use of alcohol, nor strenuous physical activities are recommended.    

What should I expect following the procedure?

Slight swelling and bruising may occur in rare cases, which can easily be masked with decorative cosmetics.
